A Sad Love Story

He stares at the rain

As time passes

Hoping she’ll comeback

So he can forgive the mistakes she made, again

he stays because he fears moving on and starting over

It’s sad to see someone’s mental state wither away

Because his idea

of love is tainted

Thinking the more he tolerates her shit

The stronger they’ll become

One day I hope he realizes

his power,

I hope he lets go of the burden holding him back

So he can rise above the madness.
